Welcome to my website! I’m Ereka, a first-generation Italian-American mama, TV host, and food content creator with over 2.9 million hungry followers. I’m known for whipping up easy, elevated recipes that make dinner a lot less stressful. My mission? To make you fall in love with cooking dinner again!

Who is Ereka Vetrini?
Good question, if you have a few minutes, I’ll tell you.
My culinary roots run deep—My parents were born and raised near Naples, Italy. They met and married in New York and then, shortly after I was born, they opened their first restaurant. I grew up in that restaurant which is where I learned to cook, taste, and talk with my hands.
After graduating from Boston College, I helped open my parents’ first fine-dining restaurant…because what 20-something doesn’t take on a full-blown restaurant opening right after graduating college.
I then swapped my apron for a suitcase, working as an international auditor for Estée Lauder. I travelled from country to country, tasting everything in sight, and collecting flavor inspiration like souvenirs.
Eventually, after a short stint as a contestant on a business reality TV show (can you guess which one?), I made my way to TV, spending 15+ years hosting shows for NBC, TLC, and HGTV.
Then, in 2008, everything changed. I became a mom, and cooking became a love language again, obsessed with developing easy, nourishing meals for my family.
I started a humble blog to share the kind of simple, comforting meals that helped me reconnect with the kitchen while juggling motherhood. It was a way to pass along recipes to other busy parents like me. Then, in 2020, my daughter gave me a little push I didn’t know I needed. She encouraged me to post my homemade gnocchi recipe on TikTok. It went viral—three million views in three days—and just like that, the kitchen became more than a place of love and family; it became the heart of my career.
For the past five years, I’ve built a business from my kitchen —developing over a thousand recipes for my social platforms, working with brands like Barilla and Sargento, launching a line of kitchen aprons (see image below), and growing a community of millions. And now, I’m thrilled to share that my first cookbook will be published in 2027. It’s been a wild (and delicious) ride, and I’m just getting started.
